I read the book and it got me thinking about a teacher I had in sixth grade. This man was your typical teacher, though he was not very energetic. Many times he would eat the chalk he had in the class room. Though we thought it was funny at the time, I never thought there was a reason why he did it. May be it had something to do with the amount of vitaminsandminerals in his diet? I have no idea, but this book was telling me it was. It's an interesting theory. But would it makes us eat chalk if our body craves for vitamins and minerals it is not getting?

I don't know.

Even though it's just a theory, perhaps making sure you take a daily vitamin could help you to stop your urges just in case it works. If you take up a diet plan that ensures you get the right foods each day, perhaps that, along with the vitamins, could provide you the head start you need to stay on track. Just stay away from the chalk, ok? If you do have cravings ask yourself what you have been or maybe not have been eating lately. You will get an answer.
